Birthday Cards

A couple of birthday cards - one for my friend and one for her sweet little boy.

Her card is a shaker card, filled with pink and orange seed beads and sequins.  The cupcakes were stamped using a Unity Stamp Co. stamp and colored in using Spectrum Noir markers.

Materials Used:
  • "1,2,3,4,5 Thousand Cupcake Calories" stamp by Unity Stamp Co.
  • Memento black ink
  • Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers
  • Diamond Stickles
  • Pink and orange seed beads and sequins
  • Spellbinders "Labels 11" for the window and frame
  • Glittered stripe paper from Recollections "Pretty as a Peacock" stack

The background of his card was stamped on white card stock using a cloud stamp and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The blue is a combination of various colors of Distress ink blended with Diamond glimmer mist.  The little parrot was stamped using a Recollection clear stamp and colored in using Spectrum Noir markers.  The flag banner was stamped directly onto the background and paper pieced using various scraps.
